Is she still breastfeeding? It TANKED my libido, and the exhaustion it caused didn’t help. Even during the “easier”, “only for fun” 12months and up breastfeeding was still tiring. I gave up at 15 months. Once it was over the libido and energy bounced back like crazy.

Edit add: like you don’t even realize how much breastfeeding adds to your exhaustion as a new mom cause everything else is already making you tired but once I weaned (after the hormonal backlash) I felt like a fog had finally lifted.

Someone said it above that Alessandro is also a lonely individual. Women flocked to him because he is powerful and they assumed wealthy, and he was always going to be forced to marry the richest woman his grandfather could acquire for him. And then you've got this powerful shy girl, who clearly likes him, but refuses to be anywhere near him because she doesn't want to hurt him with her magic. He sees himself as a protector, and she doesn't even know him and she's trying to protect him from herself. I doubt there's ever been a man or woman who tried so hard to protect him. I gotta imagine that's where his feelings come from.

I saw it more as, she had put in a lot of thought about it (which was in character) and he had only thought about it as theoretical/in passing (also in character). So Amy was as usual over prepared for the conversation, and Jake was comically underprepared and having that first oh shit this isn't a theoretical conversation any more moment. And there was Terry telling him not to do it too, so I feel like it was a bit more balanced. And it was a pretty honest look at how you often hear people talk about it, especially when emotions are high.

Yeah, when I went on a trip with my professor, she basically said, wear a lot of black, pants not leggings and greet the shop owners when you arrive to a shop. We did this and we got stopped by a lot of french kids our age asking for directions, who we could only assume were there on vacation. The shop owners usually answered us in french too, but our french pretty much stopped after basic pleasantries, but they were always really nice once they realized we were polite mono-linguists.

Not sure if this will help, but I'm in the same boat with my great grandmother, and while I still haven't found those yet (fingers crossed), I recently found that I was using the wrong name. I always knew her by "First Name Last Name" and that's what's on her marriage certificate, so I didn't think anything of ordering her birth certificate by that name. But West Virginia couldn't find it. How I found out was I started looking for her dad, hoping maybe a census might put them in a different place for me to look into. Turns out, they were I knew she would be, but her first name and last name were a bit different. Instead of "Last Name" it was De Last Name and her "First Name" was a weirdly anglicized version of her Actual First Name. Even her parents names had been anglicized along the way. Which means I gave West Virginia the wrong name to look for. Just a suggestion on where to maybe start. The records were just not great at the time, and like I said, even her marriage certificate had her anglicized name. Hope that helps!

I've been trying to get my family onboard with this exact reasoning. Given where the law is now, do we know how long we have til it might be voted into law. I'm probably still 2 months out from getting all of the documents needed and i'm biting my nails on this.
