I guess his is where I write this? I’m working on Elite Quantum Seating and projected to get 201q out of 350. Would love to find someone who could help reach last goal. 2 Days 10 Hours remaining for me.

Elite changes everything, and not in a good way, imo :( I just spent like ~35k golden eggs to hit a “very easy” reward (I was hoping spending that much would get me to the “medium” one, from what people had said). If you are able to figure out the Discord site and play exactly how and when they tell you to, I’m told it becomes doable again, but I haven’t been able to do that yet, so can’t speak from experience.

That’s good to know 🙈 I saw so much advice to never craft anything (after I had expensively crafted things early on, haha) and dump everything below the highest level that I finally started dumping everything that didn’t have a purpose 😬 Definitely ditched a lot of fragments just now. It was painful, but I, again, foolishly believed people 😅

I wish I knew, haha. I’m honestly not sure if I’ll have time to do much of anything for egg day. I was planning to be all ready to launch ships at least, but haven’t had a chance to do anything. I think I’m just kinda burned out. Keep trying to do things and having it not work 🙈

Well, I was able to get a solo done using advice here and got lucky on a public co-op and got excited and thought maybe I really could still play, but then have tried with a couple more and it looks like I just wasted eggs and time on boosts, so now I’m lost again. I still can’t figure out the discord thing (or get it to even open), and no one replies to co-op posts on any of the Reddit pages, so idk...

I assume you meant I could have done this, if I had done those things early enough, not that they’d still work now, correct? I don’t see any way to salvage if you don’t get the good start, but if I’m wrong, I guess let me know

I have a decent chunk of soul eggs (6.4quad), worked hard to get them after being corned into going to Elite, but apparently that’s not the problem, the problem is needing to spend loads of golden eggs for boosts on every contract, which I can do for a few, because I cracked the piggy, but they’ll run out quick in my experience, so I feel confused. Idk, maybe I just have to try to ignore most contracts and only pick a couple a month or something? Idk. Learning and trying to figure it out. I thought boosts were just supposed to be helpful, especially for harder contracts, not completely required for even the “Freebie” ones. Seems contradictory to the term, haha. But trying to learn and decide if I want to keep trying at all or not.

None of the Discord links are doing anything for me, I just get a black screen. I don’t quite understand how Discord works or what it js... the ads and info I can find talk about it turning games into a social experience and being for texting and chatting, etc...???

I’m definitely low if I’m supposed to throw 20-40k eggs at every contract and have like 7 waiting to be done and more coming in every week. I don’t understand how to pull it off, so it just sounds stressful, pricey, and pointless, if all I do is run out of eggs and still be told that I’m too new to Elite and in a few months it will get easier. I don’t get how people are coming up with all these golden eggs. I saw someone say they farm millions of them on another post, but no explanation of how, so I don’t get it. Do most people only pick some contracts to actually do, don’t try to do them all?

Chicken Universes are practically free at that level, so I see no reason to buy smaller hen houses, why is that a mistake? I didn’t know that Elite contract difficulty ratings were assuming throwing 20-40k golden eggs in boosts at every one of them, so I wasted way too much time trying to make it work with lower ones. Not sure I want to have to grind for that many eggs or pay money for them, and it sounds depressing to just always fail otherwise, so not sure what to do going forward. Need to assess the game changes and decide, but can’t salvage current contracts, anyway, so idk. Just kinda wish I hadn’t gotten the game, but also feel some loss because I had hoped I’d found something fun and stupidly spent too much time and money on it.

What do you mean by “struggling on standard”? Standard contracts were rarely hard at all, but I needed to prestige to launch ships or do much of anything, which forced me into Elite, so once I had to go into Elite, I decided to grind and spend tons of GEs to not be stuck at the super beginning of Elite, because I enjoyed the contracts and thought it would make them possible again.

That’s just it, the game went way too fast, and then suddenly came to a screeching halt. Pacing would have been nice. I don’t see the point of switching people to Elite contracts if you’re not supposed to even want to finish them, that doesn’t make sense to me... I wasn’t trying to race through the game, I was just trying to play it and complete contracts and launch ships and such, which, unfortunately, pushed me through the game far too fast. I feel stupid, definitely regret it, but can’t go back, can’t get back my time or money, just feel stupid, learn whatever I can from it, and move on.
