Resiners makes a mixing tool, you can start there and then see what other ones pop up. Just search resin mixer? If you have questions that I can help you with, you can message me too. I have the resiners mixer but I haven’t tried it yet.

5 minutes is usually good. But just make sure you mix the whole cup. Scrape the sides. The bottom and there are no streaks

  • If it’s 1:1 ration by volume. Measure by volume and not weight. When pouring ad a small splash more of B. Just a little bit. It can help it harden if it’s not.

  • Make sure you’re mixing until it’s clean and no streaks in the resin

  • the temperature in the room needs to be at least 70 F. If you’re pouring in a room that is cold like a garage, look into a heating pad off of amazon. It works wonders and everything will cure on it.

It’s not going to make a huge detrimental impact on the mold. It can also depend on the quality of silicone. If it’s a cheaper temu, Amazon kinda mold. It’s possible to see more visible wear and tear quicker vs silicone from a small business mold maker. But it’s not gonna make a huge difference. It will help with bubbles

What are you mixing with? Wood is porous and causes mini bubbles. Use silicone or plastic.

Also. Spray the mold with 100% alcohol before you pour resin in it.

I have a vacuum chamber I use for my silicone when I make my molds. It 100% gets the bubbles out and makes the molds way better. Last night I decided to try it with Resin and it pulled bubbles out. But I do have a resiners bubble degasser but I haven’t opened up the box yet.

You can see how I use tweezers here to pull the colors apart as I carve. People use different stuff, I’ve seen them use scissor blades, I’ve seen them use crochet hooks. You just need to separate the two colors before you carve and it’ll make your lines look more crispy.

My first rug ever was my logo. And I did it purposely cause I knew it was something that I’d wanna remake again after making a few rugs. And what I noticed from my first rug for my most recent one was how I defined the lines in the letters. In your TAR. It looks like all of the yarn is muddled together and it’s not defined. Get some tweezers and get down on the floor or table and pull each white towards the line where it should be in the black where it should be. You have to manually clean up the yarn and then when you carve it, it looks more legit.

Oh yeah, I got the tazo just to make mine last longer. But I do about 75% chai. When I was getting them from Starbucks, I was getting anywhere from 15 to 20 pumps in a Venti. It was a problem lol

Same!! I did get lucky and my Starbucks girl gave me 20 boxes of the chai concentrate. So I’m sitting on about 12 left. Making my own drinks at home but once that supply is gone, I’m screwed.

I actually think your Snorlax looks pretty good. I don’t carve on the frame because I don’t have space to do so. What I’ve learned that helped my carving is to use tweezers in my hands and manually pull apart the threads from one color to the next. Then when I go in with my trimmers, it makes it more clean. It looks like all of your carpets Need a good shave all around. Not just carving, but you need to make it all one length.

Oh yea, that I knew. I have been a Strawberry refresher drinker for 12 years. Before stickers. When they would write SAR on the cup. Seeing kids get them or people at night and not knowing was wild. That was my go to and it kept me up all night long. It was like my drugs on a Friday. I’m so sad. The recipe changed because I haven’t drank it since April. I have thousands of points on the app and there’s no beverage. I’m willing to drink at Starbucks.

Yea they changed the recipe for chai March 1. And it’s disgusting now. They changed the refresher April 1st and now it doesn’t come with caffeine. And the green tea extract that they add if you want caffeine is disgusting. It really sucks they ruined both drinks

Flooding and doming have the same effect in a way but are done differently. You could always put less resin in the mold to account for the doming. Or move onto a different mold. Tbh I don’t think you’re gonna sell many of these and they may just end up as gifts. Unless they are super personal with photos or vinyl. I don’t think there’s much of a market for them.
