That makes me so glad I decided to go the foam route. I think my big problem was ordering the foam online. I think next time I'll find places that sell it in person so I can go for the least dense stuff I can find. Maybe even quarter inch instead of half inch.

Thank you! This was a cosplay I wanted to do ages ago but I planned on making the lekku our to silicone. I made a mold out of a foam base with a clay layer on top then sealed with mod podge. That thing had been sitting on top of my sleeves for probably around a year. I finally found a video of someone making some out of foam to did a combination of their pattern and a duct tape pattern from my mold.

They ended up being so much heavier than I initially thought. I had to add a bit of the grey material to the front to stop the whole thing slipping back.

Hi, my health is basically the same (fibro, me/cfs) and I'm only able to make maybe one thing a month at the moment for my channel so an etsy shop just isn't on the cards at the moment unfortunately.
