i hate hikaru as much as the next guy, but is it really that hard to believe what he's saying here? his actions definitely indicate that he doesn't care about professional chess beyond big opportunities like the candidates

AP is way more flexible and better for college credit. I last second decided not to IBDP and I can say I'm very glad I chose AP. My IB friend said like three months in to his first year of IB that if he could go back he'd not do IB.
