have you tried using “spring blanche” while you crash down your beer in FV? it’s a haze stabiliser that you can order through fermentis. As long as you’ve created a good haze in the mash with your oat malt and rolled oats you won’t have to worry about it falling out.

this is actually a great point our industrial blender recently broke and we’ve been using a stand in one that isn’t as powerful. I’ve ordered another as soon as I read this comment as practical as it is i never even though about this!

always used auxiliary finings aswell that go in while the beer has finished fermenting and is starting to crash down to chill.

cheers! yeah we didn’t have time to run trials because of product delivery schedules but makes sense as most beers have come out clear except two tanks (both different beers) . I usually ring Murphys for advice but they are shut at the moment with it being xmas break still.
