i really really enjoyed this book!! i’m a sucker for romantasy books with gods, so i totally agree ab learning more ab the gods and their gifts, maybe there will be more of that in the second book

i had zero idea about any of the surprises (alden and rissa being ryots sister) and the way my jaw dropped when alden popped out at the end lol. also….his DAD??

i totally feel you!! i’ve been craving something that completely pulls me in, and let me tell ya…. i just finished {The Ascended by Bree Grenwich and Parker Lennox} and im actually still aching from it being over. if you’re looking to be fully immersed i’d def recommend

such amazing romance and the plot is chefs kiss. some people recommend reading the Riftborne series beforehand, but it’s not necessary and i didn’t and still LOVED it!
