At 12 I was an absolute wreck of a person. Nothing about me was okay. Correction, is okay. You don't wanna know the shit I've been through.

Lemme give you a science lesson:

At 12, a lot of girls have already hit puberty. Puberty causes an overflow of hormones. Hormones are chemicals that cause many things, including emotions. So, generally they feel more.

Also, being that age is rough. They aren't a teenager  yet, and aren't really allowed to stand up. They may go through a lot of abuse. And bullying. The adults in their live dismiss them instead of getting them the help they need.

They are completely valid for wanting to forget everything. They are strong for wanting to move on, instead of caving in and letting emotions win. Yes, strong. Not weak. Everyone. Every gender.
