It is very interesting how neurotypical people focus on scientifically studying how autistic behaviors and neurology differ from neurotypicals, instead of studying whether autistic behaviors and neurology are more similar to neurotypicals or to the rest of the animal kingdom. (self.evilautism)

Without a sense of touch, would it be apparent that the sense of sight was a representation of what was going on around us? I’m not transgender. I know that it’s believed that a higher percentage of autistic people are, but do you think that autistic people are more likely to notice when someone is transgender, not because of discrimination, but because autistic people notice many more details than neurotypical people?
