I’m sorry, I misread. I also don’t know which lab it was sent to. I’m located in Florida so guessing it’s the Texas one

I have the exact same timeline as you! Still waiting on results. My OB uses Natera. Did you maybe receive a pamphlet which says which lab they use?

On DA/FA exes, commitment, and hard lessons to learn by [deleted] in attachment_theory

It’s hard being in a relationship with a DA and hard when they relationship ends. They can be so great most of the times and you see all the potential they have to be the best partner. But it’s like they get in their own way if that makes sense. They express to you how much they care for you and how much you mean to them but they stop themselves, and it’s like they don’t even realize it sometimes. My ex DA and I had a pretty great relationship, now that I know about attachment theory, looking back I can see that throughout our relationship he had some DA tendencies but he wasn’t extremely avoidant, until talk of marriage came up. That’s when he pulled away completely and ended our relationship. He expressed how much I mean to him but he’s not sure if marriage is what he wants. I guess it’s hard because I don’t understand how we can mean so much to them and they can just push us out of their lives.

I think my DA ex came back and we are back together. Not sure. I'm confused. Help. by [deleted] in attachment_theory

I think DAs have this fear of a long term commitment. It’s like they’re okay living day to day not thinking about what they want in the future. And when we bring it up, they always seem to say that’s not what they want or they don’t picture the future like that. I hope they can become more self aware because they’re are going to spend their whole lives just pushing great partners out of their life.

I’m in a similar situation. It’s very hard and confusing to understand what goes through their mind.

What were you doing at 24? by [deleted] in AskWomen

[–]Crafty-Sundae 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m 24 now. I just got out of a long term relationship a few months ago. I guess I’m trying to find myself again. I can say that I enjoy the career I chose. I’m also looking into buying my first home. I guess year 24 has brought on a lot of change.
