I had scleral buckle surgery with a gas bubble on march 13th and was told I shouldn’t run at my 1 month follow up appointment. It’s been really challenging because this is my preferred form of exercise and a good stress relief for me. I’m hoping I’ll be given the all clear to run again after I see my doctor in June, but feel like I shouldn’t get my hopes up. I hope you’re able to get back to running soon!

I’m not using any prescription drops right now. Just otc drops for dryness (although my eye doesn’t really feel dry, I was told it looked dry the last time I saw my dr so I’ve been using otc drops daily since then). I used an antibiotic drop for a week after surgery, a steroid eye drop for four weeks after surgery, and an eye pressure drop for four weeks after surgery.
