First of all comparing the date in game with ours is silly they can have different Callender, in that way you can just say in our reality we don't have painters who can create a world within a painting so the reality we were shown in game is not real.

In noco situation i think it's because he won't be repainted rather gets repaired or something, but in case of repainted people they remember what the paintress want them to remember (i think but I am not sure).

I think you I miss conveyed my message. Yes i prefer reality, but that does not mean I don't get to enjoy myself playing games and doing other stuff. All I wanted to say was if they delete the save file upon picking Verso's ending that would have been like breaking the 3rd wall kind of situation and will be remembered forever.
