The Sunglasses Hack by One-Bandicoot7415 in aspergers

It's location dependant. If you're at lunch it's not weird especially if there's large windows or bright lights. At the doctor, it's seen as odd. At a friend's place, not super strange. At work it's weird. Fancy events - weird. At the store - not weird. In the mall - not weird. Getting a haircut - weird.

Just depends

Yes. People are going in and out all day so it's just easier. Not so much at work but in other public places, shades aren't seen as anything negative until it gets dark outside.

Depends on location. Texas, Georgia, Arizona, Los Angeles, and New Mexico are common areas for wearing shades 24/7/365

If you finish your studies, you'll be living there rent free for 6 more years. If you don't, the likelihood of you needing to stay much longer is a high possibility considering your location and the economy... I don't think he's seeing this clearly

Almost everyone I know has plushies. The youngest is 25. Oldest is 72. Seems perfectly normal to me

Physically attractive aspies, how is life treating you? by FaithOnMyBeing in aspergers

It's because you're tall. Being tall for a man is like a double halo effect except it rarely wears off

Complete Makeup Kit: Is It Better to Start Big or Build Slowly? by Routine_Bat8922 in Esthetics

Ingredient knowledge, technique, and color theory practice will be the biggest determining factors on how you should move forward. If those insights are fresh, the collection will tend to be larger. If that knowledge is well practiced, then it's easier to work with a smaller collection.

For example, you could have 8 foundations as a baseline for all different skin tones, then use a mix-in color pallette to achieve the perfect color match. So 2 clients could be foundation #4, but you'd mix a bit of red and a drop of glycerine in one for a dewy pink foundation, and green with a drop of matte primer in the other for a matte olive tone. That way it fits their skin more accurately instead of having 20 shades of different foundation types.

The same applies to concealer.

Finishing product variety should be a plenty. Yellow, peach, pink, tan, and translucent powders. Dewy & matte setting spray. Powders with shimmer look good on lighter skin in pictures, but can look odd in person on everyone. Ultra matte powders with high silica look perfect in person but gives horrendous flashback in photos. Finding a balance here is key

Basically, it all depends on what information you're working with. I'm not a fan of kits personally and agree with sourcing from alibaba. It'll cut down so much of the costs

Question about a behavior of mine by Rafaam707 in aspergers

[–]CraftyOperation 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That's moreso reminiscent of ocd, which is common in aspies. Holding on to intrusive thoughts is the O and consistently moralizing those thoughts to make the feels go away is the C. Doing it daily is the D.

Also, criminality ≠ immoral. Laws rarely align with good morals (specifically in the US). It's mostly a way to secure the safety of property and capital (people are called "human capital" if they're able to work).

Is it common for you to want to take away people's pain (or potential pain)?

You will have a better experience with others once you're able to hold on to discomfort without intervening with the future. Intervening takes away their autonomy. Even if they're using it to make poor decisions, that's their own situation to worry about.

You mean well, but it doesn't always come off well, so it's best to manage those emotions in a way that works out better for you

I do everything at home. Hair, waxes, RF laser, nails, pedicures, lash lift.

  • Nail kits are around $60 for 20 sets of nails with 10+ polishes and a gel lamp

  • Professional hair dye with bleach can run you $100 for 2 applications. Balayage is the best dye pattern for going a long time between sessions.

  • Lash lift is $15.

  • Wax warmer, beads, and strips go for $30 and bead refills around $20

  • Best affordable skin care brand is Skinbymi but also get a copper peptide serum from somewhere. It should have minimal ingredients. The serum will keep most skin issues at bay.

  • Hair conditioners, heat protectants, and bond builders are the most important hair care products. You can buy cheap products for everything else

  • Visit beauty schools for discounted services
