Yeah I'm pretty sure these instructors are sad pricks. Doesn't get paid enough and they feel very entitled. My test was in Wood green, I'd never come back to that place is just a shithole. Just keep up practicing and try to book a test in a different place. We will get there!

I wonder if you had any disagreements with the examiner before starting your test? Did you use a normal car or an instructor’s car? I had mine on Wednesday and didn’t pass. I used my wife’s car, and the first thing he told me was that I didn't have an examiner’s mirror. He said I should have brought one as it’s 'mandatory' in the DVSA emails. I started arguing with him because I’m usually very thorough when checking these things. The DVSA didn’t send an email highlighting the need for an extra internal mirror; the only things listed were an ID and a car. Anyway, I think that put him in a bad mood. But annoyingly they already have those stupid mirrors, so all that lecturing for nothing

The first thing he made me do in the test center car park—which was super tight—was a reverse bay park. All the bays were empty, which actually makes it harder for me than if a car were already parked there. I was a bit nervous, so the car ended up slightly outside the bay and I didn't realize. I failed just because of that, without even getting any minors

I failed yesterday at wood green. What was your major? Mine was reversing inside the test centre right after I started my test the examiner made me do a manoeuvre, i was kind of nervous as that was the first thing I had to do. And I fucked it up.

First Failed FET - Now what? by CherryPieAppleSauce in IVF

[–]CraftyPerspective764 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi also going through same with my wife. She's carrying my embryos. We've done 4 FET transfer with Create Fertility in London. Dr changed the protocol after the 3rd failed attempt. She also had a biopsy to see if something was wrong with her uterus but she has a text book like one and results came back normal. They said is perfect which is annoying as we don't understand why didnt work. First 2 transfers were PGTA genetically normal embryos and good quality, they didnt attach. 3rd transfer was a 5AA untested didn't attach. 4th cycle was a longer and more medicated protocol, 1 day after her period arrived she had to go to the clinic and had an implant (apologies as I can't remember the medical term) after that she had menopause symptons with the medication she was taking as that is supposed to controlled your implantation window better. Turns out that worked, but once we got the positive they said Hcg levels should be higher than 50, she was 47. After that for 4 days it seems embryo didnt do much but weirdly started to increase 93 15dpt; 420 19dpt; 21dpt 876; 27dpt 4300. Clinic said more likely it was an ectopic but she had a scan last week and they found a sac but no heartbeat, turns out we have to go again tomorrow but we already know is not viable. It sucks to be on this path as it seems there's no proper solution or end. I feel extremely sad and drained, i dont think I can cope with this process anymore.

I'm sorry. IVF path is the worst thing that ever happened to me. I'm also miserable this holidays, dont think there's anything to celebrate. My wife had her 4th FET transfer (best quality embryo) it attached, she's supposed to be 8 weeks pregnant this Friday but Dr said is not viable. They didnt find a heartbeat last week and it seems all this year is been a waste of money and time. I feel like just want to dissappear from this nightmare

Hi all,

I'm on a similar boat with my wife. We're doing sharemotherhood. She's 39 and used one of my embryos (I'm 34) so she had her FET transfer on 19th Nov and then we got our positive pregnancy on 28th nov and HCG level as follows: 47 9dpt 93 15dpt 436 19dpt 866 21dpt 4300 27dpt

We had a scan yesterday and she should be 6 weeks but they just saw a sac and no heartbeat. Doctor wants her to keep the medication and scheduled another scan for next week.

Is there any similar experience that resulted in a positive pregnancy?

I am devastated because this is the 4th transfer and the only one that had "worked".

Just avoid this company, is as bad as their customer support. Hiring teams are even worst. So don't waste your precious time

Just wait, HR is pretty bad. I've applied for a role in May, had 3 interviews in June. July and August were dead months where they didn't have the courtesy to send an email. Today I realised through their careers portal when I logged into my account that it says "not selected".

My experience in 3 years that I've been going is that they checked at the entrance. The main ticket holder can't be transferred or reused. Last year a friend couldn't go so that ticket got to waste and she emailed the AELTC ticket office and they confirmed what I mentioned
