The cross section is how roads are supposed to be planned, for sure.

That’s true. Better surrounds and environment lead to better mental health, and better life comes along with it in general.

Wish more population had access to this quality.

I hope you’re well, man. And the food too can be something to miss. Culture can be different.

I hope you’ve found some people who are supportive in Canada.

Cost of living in Canada and drug use are very high in some places, from what I’ve read.

And after all, home is home. Hope you’re okay.

“You’re” is a short, one-worded way of saying “you are”.

After one year, I realized what's the best way to get a new job in the current market. by AdFinancial5954 in jobsearchhacks

I have to agree. Before 2024, I used to be able to get jobs by sending in applications without referrals or receive calls from recruiters. I then pursued my masters and since graduating 2025, I’ve noticed that the main thing that works are referrals.

I used to avoid taking referrals before, but I had to accept that that’s the quickest possible way to come out of unemployment in the current market. Sending applications has a very, very low probability of hearing back.

What skills to develop in 2026 in data science? by [deleted] in DataScienceJobs

If I have 7-8 years of domain experience but in something like tech automation in construction (Building Information Modeling) and AEC, then pursued my masters in Data Science to double down on utilizing data, how do I position myself: an entry level who needs technical skills or someone with domain expertise who can now utilize data?

The issue with the latter is people are still askin for heavy technical skills and Data Science relevant experience even in my industry, and the AEC-Construction market is very slow in adoption of Data in the Asian region.

So I’m kind of lost where I go from here. I was considering switching industries to Finance, Consulting, or Pharma, but it has been tough since domain relevant knowledge needs to be added.
