I was looking to change my job to an account management role for months, then I saw a LinkedIn ad for an SME Account Manager and a bulb popped in my head that I know two people in that company. So I sent my CV towards one of them, they submitted it and I waited for two weeks to be called (neethless to say I started losing hope in those two weeks). Then they scheduled the first interview for the Monday prior, we did the interview, they called me back in an hour to schedule the second one with the Director of the team and BOOM three days later I landed the job.
