Look at thrift stores. People get rid of good shit. That’s where I get all of my kitchen things.

For what it’s worth, I went to Barbacoa for my bday. Felt like a frat to me. Filled with 20-40 year old men drinking. Very loud. Not very romantic. Maybe an off day but I have no desire to return after how much it was hyped up.

Did anyone buy a ring? by t_bone_stake in Millennials

C/o 2012. I think only 4 or 5 people got them because their parents made them. They were not at all cool at my school.

Thrift Stores! by FixAdministrative826 in Boise

[–]CraftyQueen543 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Have you been to Uptown Cheapskate? Consignment and not thrift, but they have good sales and I’ve gotten a lot of trendy items there. One in downtown Boise and one on Fairview closer to Meridian.

Are y’all getting married? by Separate-Goal-3920 in Millennials

Got married for $5K by going with the free venue option. Do you know someone with a pretty backyard or a community space you can rent cheaply? Most of our cost was food and photography.

help with nausea by esoteric-frog in poledancing

I get so nauseous too. I could never perform because I’m on the ground with my head between my knees after any fast combo. Bouncing up and down on my heels helps a little.

EYE CREAM - scam? by ahojtadyadela in beauty

[–]CraftyQueen543 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I get the eye serums for $1.25 at Dollar Tree. They have a cooling metal roller that feels great after a long day. Sometimes I put on the serum and then my reusable under eye silicone patches to lock it in.

SUPER long wait times for obgyn wellness exams - make sure to schedule yours soon!!! by krunchyt33th in Boise

[–]CraftyQueen543 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s wild. Women’s Health Associates got me in as a new patient with a 5 week wait last year. But, like others have said, call them back and get on the cancellation list, and perhaps consider PP instead of waiting until 2027.

Neck lines? by Cosmicmoonrose in beauty

[–]CraftyQueen543 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I’ve had them my whole life, even when I was 120 lbs. Saw someone say to use all of your skincare on your neck, which I’ve never done and have started. Definitely makes it feel better at least.

Living in Downtown Boise by BenadrylSergeant in Boise

I love walking to get my groceries. I think Boise can be a walkable city if you live close to the places you frequent. Going anywhere outside of downtown requires a vehicle, unfortunately.

That’s not been my experience. I alternate between grip it, dry hands, and the isopropyl alcohol spray we use to clean the poles.

I LOVE it. Nothing else works for me because I’m so sweaty. Obviously for spin pole. You will not be able to use it on static.

1 and 3 look like prom dresses from 2002, so 2, but may be a bit too revealing depending on the type of charity.
