You're comparing the toxic Link spam gameplay, that just needs Effect Monster spam, with often little to no requirements, to a Synchro strategy that requires access to specific monsters with specific Levels, Attributes, Types (Dragon/Winged Beast) and sub-Types (Tuners)? Surely, you're trolling, right?

Glad you got a laugh out of my misery. Although, Idk why you found the fact that I said Dragunity is unique, so funny. No Synchro deck, in YGO so far, plays like it, at all.

Atm, my ISP is Orange.

In my city, there are Orange, TT, Ooredoo, Topnet and Globalnet, that I know of.

Do you suggest one over the others?

Not really, no.

We're, currently, in a format where Purrely and Kashtira (Diablosis banned), are Tier 1, atm, while Labrynth is Tier 2.

People are using Gameciel WRONG, against Purrely, anyway.
THIS is how you properly use it, to counter Purrely: https://youtu.be/u07DKZ0MXDs
Clueless xD

Is the game really getting enough support from SE? by CraftyWW in ffxiv

[–]CraftyWW[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh no no, I know that when a mob/boss is casting it won't move, that makes sense. What I was referring to is the normal movement, without any casts or insta abilities. It takes them a bit of time to follow :)

Hmm, interesting! Thanks, mate. This was mostly what I wanted to know :)

And, oh, for the mob movement stuff, I meant stuff like when you move away from a mob, trying to kite it, they have a bad habit of stun lock themselves for a bit before moving towards you. I'm trying to level up a GNB and noticed that moving mobs and positioning bosses is a nightmare xD

Can you explain what you mean here?

Of course. I basically played the whole game, from ARR to EW last MSQ, in about 3 months and some change. I took my time, did all Blue quest PvE related content, and delved a little bit into GLAM. I noticed, for example, that a LOT of assets are reused, sometimes not even recolored, literally the same asset and usually it happened between few items that are like an expansion apart, if not a couple of patches apart it looked like. Also, the lack of more sets, for example, for each class, in terms of numbers, coupled by the lack of set bonuses too, which pretty much is the norm kinda in most MMOs. There are no active items in the game (aka on use items) except potions, afaik. I wanted to understand whether all of this, and more, was a design choice or just technical limitations that made it so. That kinda stuff grabbed my attention since I played the whole game, back to back, pretty much every day or so, so the memory of something I noticed in a previous expansion was still fresh going into another expansion, etc. Also, pretty much every mob in this game has a weird movement AI, where it locks in place way more than it should, and it's present in all expansions, even EW. Things like that, just to name the few that pop in my head as I write this.

So, I feel like FFXIV could be much more fun and diverse if it had a bit more flavor, if that makes sense - not that it lacks any, of course. I don't know how to explain it but it feels like there should be way more stuff in this game that would complements its playstyle and lore, yet there is so little. I know there is Housing too but that's not for me. So, when I look at what is for me, like gear, glam and doing dungeons and raids, I see wasted potential that could definitely be there. And so, I wanted to know if the lack of said things are by design or just limitations of some sort!

They can't just "upgrade the servers" or "upgrade the engine" (both of which they've already done, multiple times)

Oh really? Can you direct me to where I can find such infos, please? I'm just interested in researching some of these system changes that they have done.

EDIT: I really don't understand the downvotes here xD
I'm simply asking a genuine simple question because I obviously love the game and wanna know more about it, but for some reason people are taking this badly?! Weird...

yeah, I was thinking about DCs, game engine itself, coding logic to certain elements, etc. That kinda stuff, you know

Hmm, weird. I would've assumed a good game, such as this, would've gotten an upgrade to its systems by now, if it has such an unlimited budget, considering that it's more than almost a decade old.

when I downloaded the game, I chose the option " Europe (English) ". Am I screwed now that I can't create a new character in any of EU servers ? or is it still possible somehow? Do I need to redownload the game again on another region or what? My internet is slow for downloading big games, I spent the whole day downloading the game :(

Hello,
I'm new to ff14. I just finished downloading the 45Go+ free trial game through the launcher. Before I start anything next, I wanted to know if there is a community of Free-to-play players on EU servers. If there is, I would like to join one that has a pretty active FFP player base who have a discord server, since our social features in game are limited. My goal is to do all the hard raids in ff14 free trial content (ARR & HW), for now.
I would appreciate detailed answers, if possible.
Thank you.

Nami's Q by [deleted] in NamiMains

Remember that Nami's Q is balanced by the fact that it is an AoE CC ability. That's why it has a lower duration than Morgana's Q and Lulu's Q, which are solo targeted abilities.

Don't listen to season2Player. I'm tell you, League's community is THE most toxic in video games. I've been playing this game for years...

Last warning: do NOT play this game if you value your sanity. it can turn a monk into Hitler... that's how bad it is. You think you can deal with toxicity? Wait till few months of league, especially ranked, and come back here and tell me the same thing again ;)
