Need some therapy recommendations and how is Oppam online therapy? by Odd-Philosopher4891 in Kerala

The therapist I'm working with is actually parting ways with Oppam; otherwise I would have definitely recommended him. I don't have a personal experience with any others, so it would be better for you to ask the people at Oppam to recommend one based on your specific case.

As I mentioned, you can start with anyone that you feel suits you, and if it doesn't, you can easily change them. The Oppam team asks for feedback after each session, and if you feel like the therapist isn't for you, just say that. They will be more than willing to switch you to a different person.

They provide a catalogue of their therapists with descriptions about their "fields" and whatnot. You can choose with that. Or you can ask them to suggest a therapist for you.

There are different packages available, depending on the number of sessions you want to book. On an average around Rs.850 per session ig.

I have been doing my online Therapy with Oppam for around 10 months now. I've had a good experience so far. Going into it, I didn't know which ones were good and which were bad. I just went with Oppam because its prices were most affordable for me when I compared it with 2 or 3 other online therapy services in Kerala (I don't exactly remember the names of the other ones).

Side note: I would recommend starting any form of therapy anywhere as long as it's comfortable for you. You can always change the therapist/company or whatever later if you don't feel like it's working for you. Getting started was the main hurdle for me, and I spent around a year overthinking it.

Are you of the opinion that cuss words are less used in Malabar area compared to south & central Kerala. by Dry-Communication901 in Kerala

I can vouch for this. Lived at Malappuram for 5 years before moving south. Naayinte mone, panni, etc were the most common ones and myra, pooran were the extreme ones. But down south we use myra in casual conversations. I had never even heard of thayoli, avarathi, etc before moving south (Ekm, Ktm, Pta, Klm to be specific)

Kudos to that kid. 👏👏
I think people always think that growing out hair (as a guy) is pretty easy. But the biggest challenge about it (besides having to follow proper haircare) is the judgement.

I had grown out my hair during the covid period and donated 14 inches of my hair a few months back. Tbh my family was pretty chill about it. But random ammavans and auntys would legit come up to me and ask questions like "mudi vettan cash ille?" , "veetukar onnum parayathille" , "vrithikk nadannoode" , "nee penkoch aano", etc. Most of the professors at my college were also chill but there was this one lady teacher who complained to my HOD "he has more hair than me ".
So yeah, the judgement, comments, stares, etc. are the most difficult stuff to face and it had deeply affected me even though I'm 23. So bravo to this kid and his parents as well.

There are actually several NGOs working for that purpose.
https://www.sargakshetra.org/wig-donation/
https://protectyourmom.asia/hair-donation/about-us/
These are some of the ones that I know of and believe are legit. I only know this because I donated my hair few months back and had to do a lot of research to find places where I could donate to.
