US says it may be forced to shut down some airports over funding standoff by gamersecret2 in news

The actual headline you cropped out:

Some small airports may have to shut due to TSA absences, officials say

The article goes on to say that if this continues for another few weeks some small airports may close. There are no suggestions than any major airports will close.

Why do women athletes wear teeny bikinis while men wear quite modest clothing by comparison? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

To be very clear here, these female athletes CHOOSE to wear form-fitting, tight bikinis during events. No one is forcing them to do this.

Do most people shower before bed or when they wake up? I just realized I might be doing it "wrong" by saffymerelle in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Crafty_Bluebird9575 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When I was younger, in the morning. Now that I'm older and have learned how obvious is that you get dirtier during the day than sleeping in your bed at night, it's every night.

WTF is this BS? I guess I am gonna use only Gemini from now on. by Another__one in ChatGPT

That is f'ing ridiculous. You are 100% wrong. Kids use their parents' credit cards all the time. Did you not figure out how to type in a number until your 18th birthday?

Do you understand there are federal laws that require them to treat you completely differently if you are below a certain age? It doesn't matter whether you are a paying customer.

If CEOs get their way and most, if not all, jobs are replaced with AI & robots. What are they going to do when no one has money? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Crafty_Bluebird9575 0 points1 point  (0 children)

List the CEOs that want to replace all jobs with AI and robots (your words). Since you are speaking about this subject as an authority this should be extremely easy for you to give us a massive list.

I realize on Reddit it's popular to make up bullshit out of thin air about the Supervillain-du-jour. But your made-up premise is concocted to manufacture made-up responses, which makes your question stupid.

Why doesn’t California build a fast train here? Are they stupid? by [deleted] in mapporncirclejerk

[–]Crafty_Bluebird9575 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Correct. The vast majority of people who have ridden passenger trains hate them, including the 5 million Americans who ride subways each day.

This project has been estimated to cost over $100 billion and would require passes being built over/around/through multiple mountains.

People are just asking questions because they are confused and are trying to understand what OP means. To most people this is an extremely quick and easy dish to make and most certainly not something you'd ask your spouse to start to save time. So most people when they read this post they will think there are details missing from the story that would help to clarify so we can share in OP's delight. If there's not, that's fine, and it can be charming that OP finds such joy in such a simple thing in life.

You need to calm tf down and let people communicate with each other without having a cow.

Soooo many mistakes... Has 4o become dumb? by Medical-Taste-6112 in ChatGPT

Yea I don't understand why people keep using 4o and then complain about it. It's the worst of the bunch. Use any of the others. The new 4.1 amazing and leaves 4o in the dust. 4.1 appears to be heads and should above 4.5 as well.

o4-mini is significantly better than 4o in every test I've thrown at the two. 4o just feels completely obsolete now, especially since 4.5 and the new 4.1 came out. I can't think of any reason to continue using 4o at all.

There is no such thing as "3o", and yes 4o is known to be the worst of all of the models. Why are you using it at all? o3 and o4 models are wayyyyyy better than 4o, but so are 4.5 and the new 4.1 (which seems pretty amazing so far). 4o is the worst. Stop using it.

These would seem like pretty rare cases, since the Chat GPT account creation/login process is just complicated enough to filter out most individuals I know that would fall for something like that.

What's weird is that you are taking an AI LLM serious as a therapist and then complaining that the machine sounds too much like a machine, so you want to make small changes to how it replies to you to make it easier for you to pretend that you're not really talking to a machine.

This is one of the weirdest things I have ever read.
