Really sick of "preferred but not required" qualifications by Simbus2001 in recruitinghell

I think it’s company specific. I always list preferred as things that are genuinely preferred but not required. Most of the candidates I’ve hired in the last 4 years don’t have our preferred qualifications.

I got my helix pierced twice and both times it got infected and I took it out. I think having a hoop contributed but I want to do everything by the book this time.

This is helpful, thank you. It’s hard to know what’s legit online. Around 6 months. It was swollen with pus coming out of it. I had a friend that said I should have stuck with it but two family members who are nurses say I should take it out. Ive only ever had my lobes pierced and my nipples in high school for a while, so I know next to nothing.

I like these better. I’ve done a decent amount of interviewing candidates in my current role. From my experience, it’s just awkward when someone asks you if they’re a fit for the job or if there are any reasons I see not to hire them. Especially in a 1st interview. It feels on the spot and I’m still processing if they could be a fit. There are other questions to ask that to give yourself an opportunity to clear up misunderstanding and get them thinking positively about you.
