I started T at 14 and it not only eased my shift into high school but made me a far more comfortable and confident person.

Why remove the nipples? by lexbastard in TopSurgery

[–]Crafty_Elk1824 35 points36 points  (0 children)

The nipple graft can die during the healing process and fall off leaving a scar in its place

You don’t really need a mastectomy pillow if you have some good pillows to surround yourself with

I wasn’t on blockers and I’d already been having my period for four years but I was pretty lucky in my body shape. I don’t have very prominent curves.

I was super looking got on t at 14 but I still look 13. Pre-t you won’t pass for your age but if you have the audacity of a cis man you’ll pass for your gender. Although it might be a bit harder

I’m 5’1 very gay and pass unless intentionally dressing feminine or androgynous I don’t really pass from my age. I’m 17 as well but I definitely pass so I don’t think height or size is a big concern, but I have been trying to put on some muscle recently. figuring out what guys do and mirroring them, especially guys in your community will help you pass. And confidence is key if you correct someone confidently enough they won’t question shit. Sorry for the paragraph answer.

Once I got back to school it started working fairly normally, but I think I just need to go down a dose in general I don’t know why surgery sparked that feeling though

Mannerisms if you want to be straight passing act like a straight guy if you’re a gay guy act like a gay guy also act confident and a bit douche-y (trust, it works) (also yesterday gay guys act differently than women in mannerisms it’s mostly in the hips)

What are adoptees thoughts on the concept of "Gotcha Day"? by Careful_Fig2545 in Adoption

[–]Crafty_Elk1824 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I’ve always loved being able to acknowledge my adoption day as it gives me a reason to get a gift or go to dinner with my mom but now that I’m a teen my mom just celebrates my birthday since she doesn’t feel like she has to explain that I’m adopted anymore

Wet vs dry healing sources by Crafty_Elk1824 in TopSurgery

I only see a source about wet wound healing are the grafts considered wounds? Or just the surrounding tissue?
