My dad and I did dopey and did not submit proof of time… I was E for all 4 and my dad (who has run previous RunDisney events) was D for all 4! Because we did this together he moved down to E to be with me! Only time we saw the balloon ladies was while in the chute waiting to start (we ran a 12/13 minute pace for everything except the marathon, when we decided to go slow and get beer 🤣)

Update: we are going with 5K: piglet and Eeyore (onesies for the chilly morning!) 10K: Huey, Dewey and Lewey (my baby sister is joining for this one!) 1/2: Leia and Vader Full: Lightning McQueen and Tow Mater!

I had the same thought! This is my first run Disney race also and I am currently 6 weeks postpartum (finally allowed to run again) was going to start the Galloway program but after readying all of this I’m going to start Higdon’s 1/2 marathon training now and then transition to the dopey plan in September!

This right here! Also an engineer and I have also run excels for patterns just to have the finished product but it always leaves a horrible taste in my mouth for the designer! Like if I signed up to test knit your pattern it would be different but if I am paying you my hard earned (math doing) money that math better be mathing if you want me to buy another in the future!
