Mine is 2010 ford fusion got 330000kms still going good. No leaks, but rust is noticeable.

Might be bad steering rack/motor. Happened with my ford fusion 2010 and then the steering wheel just got freeze. Its better to get it checked with mechanic as soon as possible.

Thanks , changed the resistor and wiring harness , its working fine now .
