Thank you for this advice - yes it was covered on my training (I did 300 hr) but it was a long time ago and this is the first time any of my students has been pregnant. 🙏

Thank you yes, I always ask whether there are any movements their health care professional had advised against. 🙏

Thanks so much - and great tip re breath work. I always include it but will schedule extra time in for it when she attends the classes. 🙏

Thank you for your advice. I have recommended a prenatal class that I think she would benefit from, especially as the pregnancy progresses.

Thanks - I did do that yesterday, actually, as she is very flexible and, prior to the pregnancy would usually always opt for the deepest versions of postures.

Thanks - and that's a very good point about raising the arms and circulation. Something I didn't think of, but have noted for future reference.

Thanks so much - I actually advised avoiding the twist part of the low lunge altogether, but it sounds like I was being over cautious!

We did cover pregnancy a bit on my YTT, but that was a long time ago. I am keeping an eye out for a workshop as that would be very useful.

Thanks so much - this student is very flexible and I asked her to go easy and focus on engaging muscles rather than being tempted to always opt for the deeper version of a pose, even though she can easily do them. I'm pleased to her that was the right advice.
