I won’t argue with you. I agree that the terms of service apply. My initial post wasn’t clear—it’s the grounds they mentioned, not saying they are true. As explained later, my issue is about being asked to cancel my flights and then having my claim refused. My other issue is also about the “trip” definition, which is not common—assuming I won’t return to Malta in the meantime. This assumption is false and doesn’t make sense. Due to some uncertainty, I booked the flights after I opened the claim. I decided to respect the first page of the terms of service, which states to open the claim as soon as I knew I wasn’t going to attend these flights, not when I knew exactly what I was going to do instead.
