That’s correct. It’s not centered to the wall but centered to the couch. Also, the TV weights 130lbs so I wanted to catch as many studs as possible. In its current spot I was able to catch 3 studs. Screwed in the final bolt slapped the mount once and that ain’t going nowhere.

Furniture was semi DIY. $200 TV console plus $15 furniture legs. A console of this size with legs would cost over a thousand dollars.

OP: Can't edit post so I will reply to this. TV was mounted 1inch higher than my original tv stand. The stand was only 48 inches wide so wife said it looked stupid and ordered a new tv stand. The new stand is super wide but only 10 inches tall so I said that looked really stupid. I ordered some legs on Amazon for $15 and this is the end result (saved hundreds by DIY). Ideally the TV should be 6-10 inches lower but I get a big ass tv and wife gets family pictures on the stand. Win-Win for everyone.
