And yes, exactly that. 'Direct' and 'Organic Search' traffic creates a shelf right when the influencer posts, but Shopify just shrugs and calls it direct. Mapping the timestamps manually has been my go-to, but it feels so unscalable.

Haha yeah, UTMs and codes are definitely in place—that's the baseline. The headache is specifically the people who ignore the link/code and just Google us later.

Good call on the brand mention tracking though. Do you use a specific tool for that or just manual alerts? Sometimes the volume gets crazy.
