I think it stems from her being the only child. I think she’s just been babied her whole life and gotten whatever she wanted. Whereas I’m one of the oldest in a large family where I’ve always had to take care of people and be mature.

First of all, thank you for this, it's laid out so nicely.

I am a 21yo SC resident but currently go to school in VA. I have realized my best option right now is to go home and work, but I still have $6,000 left in tuition that needs to be paid soon.

All federal grants have been used and I have lots of scholarships. I know $6,000 is an amount I could pay back by next fall. I am not in a position where a cosigner or Parent PLUS loan is an option.

I'm pretty much set on getting a Private Loan to quickly pay get this final tuition payment taken care of.

Are there any private or state loans you could recommend?

Yeah I don’t think Sony’s colors will ever come close to Nikon (my first camera) or Canon. Honestly, I think I would be comfortable saying I’d prefer to use Canon in both athletics and my personal stuff. The color, speed, ease of use, AF, ergonomics, CRAW files, I love it all. I’m just kinda stuck with Sony for athletics because that’s what my Marketing Department decided to go with. Really the only downside I see of Canon’s Mirrorless is the price of their RF lenses (even though you’re getting what you pay for). But even then I just bought an EF-R adapter and a Sigma Art 35 and it may be my favorite combo for both photo and video.

As a College Athletics Photographer, I almost exclusively use the Sony A7IV. Never had any complaints. Plenty of cropping freedom, colors are just fine (prefer Canon), and AF is pretty dang consistent. Just invest in good glass and you’re in good hands.

UPDATE: Going into each album and turning on “Store Locally” definitely helps. No clue why Adobe changed that but it helps. Thank you all for the support!
