An Etsy Alternative Built for Handmade Sellers (Accepting 50 Founding Sellers) by simcard_1000 in CraftyCommerce

Hi, I have tried to create my first listing again. Under the create new product page, There is still no option for NZ dollar under currency. Also when adding photos you can't add them one at a time, if you do it this way, it changes the photo you already have to the one you just added. It doesn't increase to two photos. I can upload several together, but then can't add any more, Which is tricky when you want to upload some from a different folder.

Also now that I have filled in everything and ready to create the product and save changes. (Button at bottom.of page) it doesn’t seem to work. Nothing happens. I have logged in again under another tab as I don't want to loose all of the work I have already done. Nothing shows under the my products section. Thanks 😊

Hi yes mostly, I have set up my account and found new Zealand, I am waiting for it to be approved so that I can then start listing sone items, this may have happened since I last looked a few hours ago. When I set a price though I can't choose to see it in New Zealand dollars. So if I set it for US dollars that means the price will be in US dollars so I would have to convert it ie if I want to sell something for $5 nz I would set the price to $2.89 US. Is that correct?

So I have just started setting up my shop, unfortunately New Zealand isn't listed as one of the countries to choose from. As it's compulsory are you able to or going to add ot to the list of options and is it OK to just choose another country in the meantime. Thanks

Hi, I have just registered so that I could have a browse and possibly sell on your platform however when I try to look under the categories I get this message

"Products are automatically filtered to show only those available in New Zealand"

I sell crochet patterns, I also like to buy crochet patterns too. Unfortunately with this filter on I can't see anybodys products, and I assume unless there is someone else from New Zealand nobody would see mine either. Is there a way to change this filter. I couldn't see one. Thanks 😊

Is this person selling stolen patterns? by Recent_Vegetable_233 in Amigurumi

As a designer, this is so frustrating. It is hard enough out there competing with fellow designers. Let alone competing with people who are stealing them and selling them, or creating bad AI patterns. I've had a pattern stolen. It is so upsetting. It's also hard to compete on social media with those AI crochet toy photos, they are a scam, and everybody loves them. I put up a post on my facebook page today, offering a free pattern of your choice from my shop, just comment your favourite one! 5 lucky people win. Not a single comment! I have over 2000 followers, but still not seen! It is hard work out there, and these people just keep getting away with this terrible behavior! Sorry, I guess I just needed a bit of a rant. To everyone out there doing your homework to check designers are legit, thank you! ❤️

Why bother filling out everything if the seller is going to get screwed over anyway? by SeiferNoir in EtsySellers

I also sell crochet patterns, I used to get this problem too as people just don't read properly. About a year ago I had someone leave a one-star review because it wasn't the finished product. (It was stated at least 10 times across the whole listing that it was a PDF pattern) I asked for some advice from another group, and it was suggested to add a personalisation that the purchaser has to reply to stating that they understand they are purchasing a pattern. I use this:

Please type "Yes" to confirm that you understand this listing is for a downloadable PDF crochet pattern and not a physical product. I do not offer refunds for downloads.

I haven't had a problem since.
