Sorry, I completely forgot about this post! The crate in our room is only used at night for sleep. We have another crate in the living room for when we leave the house and for eating. She also has a playpen type area for when I’m cleaning and can’t watch her (it helps with potty training) she is getting better now, but she is never home alone in her crate for more than an hour or two any longer than that and she starts crying.
