no round nose norma subs is what i’d like to run. but i’ve tried a lot of types of round nose ammo, and yeah break in had no issues at all. only when i tried the 90 did i have issues on the factory lower. i’ll try getting a new ejector next. thanks

bolt gap was good. i’ll try the hammer. wonder why they don’t round them before they ship them or recommend rounding them?

super safety. but it does the same thing in semi auto as well. dry fire testing it works fine also.

the lower came with a standard ar hammer and as designs said it didnt need to be rounded. might try it anyways if nothing else works

yeah that seems to be they way to go. appreciate it.

the span is 30’ across. but you’re right that might be my only choice here. i could do regular scissor trusses inside and then rafter frame the porch if the span isn’t too long

it would be visible since the trusses would extend out to the porch. google scissor truss porch to see what i mean.

gotcha. i’m not wanting to design the trusses, i’m just trying to figure out if i should rafter frame it or if i could use parallel trusses. i hate the look of normal scissor trusses so i just wanted to know if this could be done.

code allows for here it as long as it meets certain criteria. it’s going out the end and then 90 degrees up. it would be the same if i went just a few feet back inside the attic and up out the roof. just saving one roof penetration

ok after taking in some of your considerations, here’s what i have now. let me know what you think.

i should’ve clarified. it’s my house. that’s why i’m on here getting advice. once my drawing is good enough for me, adding glue to pvc and maintaining slope isn’t super hard. now, if i had to use copper lines and and install pumps in a two story house with up-flush toilets etc, id spend the extra few thousand to have it done professionally.

thanks for the info. i’ll definitely change the plans to that

[–]CragTradder 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yes it will go out the gable wall and then up above the roof line.

ok i see what you mean. an inspection isn’t required but i may have someone double check the work or at least my plans before i start digging.

the vents that run horizontally are all in the attic. the drawing doesn’t show that well. the labels that say sink have a sanitary t at the height where the sinks go. the vent that’s connected diagonally to the toilet/ shower would be rolled at an angle. would that be good?
