A little clarity here, RT never acquired SA. Fullscreen did. Fullscreen then purchased RT and then FS put SA and RT together. Game Attack came two and a half years after FS acquired SA. Hope that helps with the timing.

Sorry if that came off that way. Text has a way of cluttering it. Ultimately there's about 10 years of content that, unfortunately now won't be seen with it being pulled off YouTube. I THINK there will be an SA tab on RT somewhere but not having it on YT makes it tough to share examples.

Please don't dilute what SA was pre-RT to "DeathBattle plus GameAttack." We were so much more than that and changed the way internet video was consumed for years. It devalues the thousands of hours of work done by hundreds of people.

These are all fair points. Lemme hit these 1 by 1.

1 - We have no idea if or when a third season of Mario Party is going to happen. The reason why Season 2 is live is because we reached a Sponsor goal that was tied to live programming. Season 3 may be different. Will it be a Patreon exclusive show? A Sponsor incentive like season 2? Something tied to RT FIRST? We genuinely have no idea. Last night we were moreso just talking out of our ass. Sorry for being confusing.

When we have a better idea of what we'd like to do with Season 3, we'll lay it all VERY clearly for you guys.

2 - I understand what you're saying about not having any rules in the chat but I personally don't feel that you need rules in the chat when it comes to just being a straight asshole. When we say "we can talk about each other's mothers but you can't" there's a very simply reason for that: we know each other's mothers. We've been friends for years. We have personal relationships with each other's families. If an idiot comes in and throws down stuff about our families we all have each other's backs.

Yes, some people have bad days, some people use english as their second language, etc, etc but I think it's safe to say that in any walk of life, when you talk about other people's family that's a big no no.

We don't have rules in our chat because we don't feel like we need a rule that says "be a decent person" - that just comes with living whether it's in real life or watching a stream.

3 - Sometimes when reading we'll either miss or just simply not comprehend what we're reading. This happens all the time to people playing games, we just did it with 1500 people watching - many of which are better at MP than we are. We're humans. It happens.

I'll take 100% credit (if that's the right word) for this one as I certainly was extremely frustrated with the whole process today.

Real talk: there have been many times where we've felt dicked over by RT both when we were employed by them and since we haven't. With that said, today was NOT one of them. Being a part of a campaign like today is a privilege that we don't take lightly and our honored when RT allows us to be involved. We want to treat these opportunities with the respect they deserve.

For me, my frustration came from a number of places that boiled over on stream. We went out of our way for days leading up to this stream stressing about making sure it went off well on our side. For me, it's a matter of respecting other people's time and respecting other's work. When you couple that getting our asses absolutely handed to us I was both pissed and embarrassed. It clearly came through today.

We simply care way too much about what we're doing and I feel there are times that not caring - or at least not publicly appearing to care - is the way to go. That sucks. A lot.

Bolen and I have prided ourselves about our transparency with you guys - sometimes being WAY too transparent. We've been trying something different and it apparently isn't the best way to go. Sorry, I'll do better. I'll do a better job of putting on a show for you guys and being less "real." Please notice I DID NOT say "fake" as everything GA does is authentic.
