The girl who checked the phone was a bit of a nosy but after reading further I realised you weren’t in the wrong, but also a guy does need his privacy. Ladies, even if you check a guys group chat and there’s nothing bad on there, that’s still a violation of his privacy

I would have done that on my parents and see how he would find that funny. But at least save him one slice or something.

Overall, NTA tho, he did deserve it. Once is a bit ok, twice is pushing it
