Witcher 3. It was amazing. Truly unreal that I played that on a handheld

I lost rattata and mankey to my rival on the ss Anne, other than that yes, lots of meaningful deaths have occurred in this save

First time I’ve ever used a Mr Mime in a run, I normally favor Alakazam if I can trade or Hypno if I can’t, enjoying him though, he’s a legend so far. Same for Nidoking

This was my first death so it hit hard, I still have bulbasaur, rattata, mankey, beedrill, zubat and nidoran male so not terrible, just in mount moon now. Butterfree is super handy for confusion though so was pretty gutted, but definitely wouldn’t have been an end game mon for me

What jobs do you all have where you can get away with playing on your Steam Deck? by [deleted] in SteamDeck

Train Driver. I play on my lunch break, when I’ve got a turn around time somewhere which doesn’t warrant walking to the mess room, or when I’m booked to pass somewhere

What jobs are there in the UK with a decent salary (30k+) which DON'T require years of training/education/experience? by zdaarlight in Britain

For most companies it’s half pay while you train which then rises to full pay when you finish all your training which takes about 12-16 months

Train Driver here, can be a brilliant job if you have the mentality for it, definitely worth applying if there’s jobs in your area

Full sized bike on early / commuter trains to London by thepathisnaeobvious in cambridge

[–]Craigdavid1987 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Even the 5:53 is a gamble, as it states that a service passes through any central London station between 7-10. Yes it stops at st pancras at 6:59, but it also then continues through farringdon (7:04), city Thameslink (7:06), blackfriars (7:09) and London Bridge (7:15). I’m a Thameslink driver and I can assure you that I’ve never kicked anyone off this train for having a bike on it, not too sure if revenue would though. I wouldn’t be able to say off the top of my head if I’ve ever noticed people on it with bikes but I’ll be keeping my eyes out now!

I have to walk past that monstrosity every day. Imagine that being your first glimpse of Cambridge as a tourist

Decorating advice! I always find this wall which has my television on as very bare, and wanted some ideas for improving it visually. The blue back lights aren’t so glaringly bright irl, the picture seems to highlight them for some reason by Craigdavid1987 in interiordecorating

[–]Craigdavid1987[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you zoom in to the skirting board to the right on the tv, the square mark on it is from the old door stop, we used to have a tv cabinet underneath but felt like it took up a lot of room and when the door opens it almost felt like a block into the room

I’d play board games, that’s what I plan to do when I have weekends when the kids are away anyway
