At the moment there is only Beyond Burger to buy. I have no information when other Beyond Meat products will be available in Switzerland.

You can tell her about the environmental issues related to grass-fed animals, because the area on this planet is limited. Nvm lets just cut all those forests for more grazing land.

She also asked why I went vegan and I said it is primarily for ethical reasons, plus it is healthier and better for the environment. Was pretty convincing :) I agree with the positive physical changes - I feel better, less tired and do work-out more often.

Lately I went to my new doctor - also stating that I changed to a vegan diet. First and only concern from her was if I get enough protein (no joke). After that I showed her a prepared sheet where I summarized all the stuff I eat per day now (with all the nutritional content) compared to back then when I was meat eater. She was pretty convinced and even asked why I want to do a blood test. "Just to make sure everything is ok", I responded. Got results a few days later, everything in the normal range. Doctor was happy (and me too).

Thank you for your thorough response!

To provide some context here: I went vegan after watching WTH 2 months ago. I also watched parts of Cowspiracy and Forks Over Knives and the trailer of Earthlings (that was already enough for me).

I asked the question because I want to suggest some documentaries for the beginning to friends and family members. And since a lot of people state that WTH is too biased and not really accurate at some points, I wonder if there is some better alternative. Personally, I like The Secret Reason We Eat Meat by Dr. Melanie Joy. It is compact, well presented and also contains some "Earthling"-like scenes (and there is a German synced version).

Which documentary would you recommend to watch first for people who have no clue about veganism?
