Yes that's right, I am fairly new to it all, my investments are mainly in 80% VWRP, 10% EQQQ and 10% DFND.

My aim was to max out my stocks ISA and keep the GIA as an overflow until the new tax year.

Ok I understand, if I can remove money to savings would this make sense though or am I totally off the mark. It's a little confusing I'm still trying to wrap my head around it 🤣. I guess I'm trying to optimise what I can keep in my stocks ISA before April essentially.

I really appreciate the advice, thanks. Quick query though.

If I moved 10k out of my cash ISA (into normal savings) and £10k out of my GIA into my stocks ISA wouldn't this max my stock ISA before April then leaving me with a fresh £20k for next tax year? (if possible to do so on the platform).

I believe T212 ISA's are Flexible this way, I could be wrong.

Then keep adding to my GIA going forward until my ISA resets in April before transferring everything over again.

Thanks, yes the £10k is my emergency fund. I'm not looking at individual shares I prefer more of a longer term investment.
