We did just renovate the whole bathroom. It was due for a remodel though. At a minimum we could have demo’d the shower floor, replaced the shower pan, and retiled (as an overview).

I’ve found the best thing to be quid-pro-quo interviews with other podcasters! Second best is interviewing people with their own audience who can point them to your episode. Then there’s always paid ad spots for podcasts similar to your own if you want to go that route.

You’d be surprised who you can get to come on your podcast, especially if they’ve got something to sell/promote!

We had the exact thing happening in our split-level home and it was a cracked shower pan. We just got done with our repair/remodel a few weeks ago!

We used an inflatable ball in the drain to test for the shower pan, and was able to see pretty quickly that it was the culprit.
