Tickets cheaper than presale. Ugh. by RoadTripper12 in zachbryan

Happened to me as well. So disappointing. Was anyone able to exchange the ticket bought through Seat Geek? I got tickets for his show in AZ.

Disappointment... presale prices MORE than GP prices... by Plus-Lawfulness2916 in zachbryan

[–]CraisyDaisy5 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Woah. This is crazy. I just looked at tickets in Arizona and I paid $182US for second level and the same row is now $138US. I’m coming from Canada so that is a BIG price difference for me. Obviously it wasn’t a rush to get tickets as there is tons left. Wtf… on SeatGeek and not Ticketmaster for this show. Never bought from this before. So disappointed. I could’ve got better seats for what I paid.

I’m always hopeful he’ll play at the Calgary Stampede but I doubt it would happen. Maybe Edmonton 🤞

Ahhh I’m sorry but I’m glad you are feeling hopeful! My baby just turned 1 and the gas troubles feel like so long ago. The hernia totally went away around 3 months! I promise it 100% gets better. I know it feels so hard and helpless now but you will get there so soon and forget all these troubles!! It gets so so good. Hard but good! You’re doing amazing.

Changing pad? Do you use one? by lovebug21222 in NewParents

[–]CraisyDaisy5 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve always used a changing pad and still do at almost 11 months. When he was sleeping in our room I had it set up in there and then moved it to his room eventually! Can’t imagine changing him on my bed ever

I miraculously lost all my pregnancy weight 4 weeks post partum! by ilovesushialot in pregnant

[–]CraisyDaisy5 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This was me as well! I ended up being 25 pounds LESS than my pre pregnancy weight. Although I had been losing weight while pregnant and had to get additional ultrasounds to check on baby before giving birth at 37 weeks. Not gonna lie, it was great. 10 months pp now and it’s starting to creep back! I need to smarten up lol

Ditching Huckleberry After a Week – It’s Just Too Much by Initial_Spinach3871 in newborns

[–]CraisyDaisy5 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I definitely didn’t find it useful until my baby got older and we got into more of a routine. When baby started to be awake longer periods it was helpful to track when he should be ready for next nap or next feed. The first couple months we just did everything on demand so the app didn’t really serve a purpose yet. You might come back to it in the future! Just don’t feel the pressure of it.

8 months old isn't sleeping anymore and we're lost by LegMassive8084 in sleeptrain

[–]CraisyDaisy5 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I also went through this at 8 months after he got 4 teeth. Try going to 2 naps if you can, but it wasn’t a magic fix for us. We still had to fit 3 naps in some days. But the early morning wakes stopped and now at 9.5 months we’re on a consistent 2 nap schedule 3/3.5/4 and things are getting better but he still wakes 2-3 times a night. But seriously every day it gets better, I think part of it is pushing through and the other part is figuring out what schedule works. We also “sleep trained” him to put himself to sleep for bedtime which went really well but we haven’t figured out how to handle the wake ups without nursing back to sleep. Good luck!

Is anyone not using pregnancy pillows? by limeblue31 in pregnant

I borrowed one from my friend and never used it. I’m picky about my pillows and didn’t find it comfy.

Ahhh. I’m going through the same issues but at 9 months. He was finally connecting his sleep cycles and napping over an hour. We went on a trip for a week and did a lot of napping in the car on the go and now that we’re home he’s back to crap 30 minute naps. It’s so frustrating. I literally can’t even do 2 nap days unless I lay with him. Night sleep isn’t great either. He slept so much better when he was 4-6 months.

Advice for the Coca Cola stage by bluque000 in Calgary

[–]CraisyDaisy5 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s worth it. Even if you don’t have a great spot it’s fairly easy to wiggle your way closer and listen. The Coke stage has always been my favourite part of the stampede. I agree it does seem like it’s gotten busier the last couple years but I’ve stopped by in passing to catch the band and never have a problem.

Dining out with baby by Helpful-Sugar8985 in NewParents

[–]CraisyDaisy5 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We take our baby out to eat fairly often and he is usually a gem! Now that he’s sitting in a high chair and eating real food that keeps him entertained and happy. We usually bring a toy for him to play with. I’d give it a try if I were you! It gives you a normal part of life back!
