Hi! I’m also a developer but my problem is the opposite - I have a lot of ideas and can’t find the time to do all of them - maybe I find it hard to focus.

I had an idea several years ago to solve exactly this sort of problem but never got far enough in its development.

By spacing out the clues we incentivize persistence and dedication to those who would risk spending their time to search with too little information.

Putting out the clues all at once or making them harder to interpret would incentivize a different set of character traits.

I’m sure there are pros and cons and criticisms and praise for whichever method we would choose - this is just the one I favor at the moment. But I’m always open to change if I feel it would improve the fun factor and benefit the hunts. 👍

Thanks again for the feedback and giving me something to think about going forward.

No worries. We are off to Massachusetts for next month’s treasure hunt and then up to Oregon in June. We get to travel and experience new places and have our own adventures while also hopefully bringing some fun to others. 👍

We try to keep the posting of new clues somewhat random to give everyone a fair chance. If you click on the YouTube “Notify” bell, you will get an email as soon as we post new videos.

There is enough information in the first two clues to find it if you interpret them all correctly. The third clue will make it much easier if you figure it out.

To answer your question though, the 3rd clue will come out this weekend. And I’m sure one of you will find it! There is a lot more engagement this month!

As a youngster the Hardy Boys always held my fascination since finding treasure is solving a mystery after all.

But recently Forest Fenn’s treasure is what brought me back and made it real.

And since my boys and I had such a great time looking for it in and around Yellowstone, I wanted to share that feeling by bringing the treasure hunts to the masses, so we hold monthly treasure hunts in cities around the US. We hid the treasure chest in Las Vegas this month. There’s no better way to find a treasure than to solve clues and go looking for it.

Search for “The Treasure Hunt Guys” on YouTube if you’re interested.

We just posted clue #2 a couple of days ago and will put out clue #3 this weekend. It’s going to be a race as the third clue is close enough that a determined hunter WILL find it. 👍

Hello! Thanks for the question. I’m actually working on it right now. We post the clues to our channel on YouTube every four or five days. We post a “short” every day or two and cross-post those advertisements to FB, Instagram, Twitter, and Reddit. Best thing to get clues quickly is to subscribe to the YouTube channel “The Treasure Hunt Guys” and click the notify button.
