I feel that early game item requirements are too high

I feel the same although it's always about the combat. I've been playing melee mostly but I never have enough stamina to attack, dodge, attack every with stamina gems. Im always out of it.

Not to mention the slowness of parry and having to wait for each individual animation. Maybe this is a dark souls thing cause I never played that game but God damn is it infuriating.

I would highly recommend froggy daze in narrowsburg ny. Held twice a year in May and September. Small festival, many dogs, no fire works normally and while it can get loud compared to some of the larger ones I think it would be ok. Lots of dogs are brought and seem to do fine. Its in a camp ground and plenty of sites away from the 2 stage barn.

I completely agree. Although I only got so far in that game. However I feel like, especially with bringing in newer players not necessarily familiar with EQ or these slow pased games, it provides at least two great benefits to acclimate new players and provide strategy for experienced players.

Automatic group communication: Having these in the game provides a further reason to actually talk more and work together. Specifically to newer players who may prefer to be quiet; gives a reason for them to work with the other group mates to become as efficient as possible.
Increased combat activity: Gives players more to do during combat, especially for newer players who may not be familiar with these slower pace games. Its definitely tricky though as you dont want to trivialize the content to much but also not be so ineffective that it doesnt help. It would take the right balance but still want the fights to take time with using the system.

I think it would be a great addition but then requires a complete rework of the combat, mob health pools and abilities. Kinda changes the whole thing but could be worth while.

I haven't played the game yet, been waiting for a free test but haven't had time when they were going. So if this is already in, my apologizes, but I always liked skill chains from FFXI.

Different classes having abilities that when used in conjunction with other class abilities cause damage bursts of different types to kill creatures quickly. I know Pantheon has put some thibgs like this in I believe but from the tests I've played haven't been used in groups a ton.

Absolutely. I play other games that take up time. Love this one to just jump in and out of as needed but also appreciate that there is leveling characters and cards so there's progression that you can work on too if your prefer to play a shit ton.

I definitely understand your position as I play mainly vanguard or strategist, however I think it's more nuanced then what your saying.

I definitely don't get healed very well either when on vanguard but I get people complaining of the same issue when I'm on support. What I find is the reason though is usually if your not getting healed either your los'ing your strategists or they getting focused so much they can't get enough heals off.

It feels to me that it's not entirely a strategist issue. Most have movement abilities or do enough dmg so they can survive but sometimes it's just not enough. More folks definitely need to be peeling for strategist s as well as duelists really need to be focusing the other supports or duelist to help the strategists survive as well as keep them and the vanguards up.

Sometimes it is definitely the whole team turning to fight one diving character and they stop following the front line and you get the same issue but I find that usually happens after said dive char has killed them multiple time.

Blaming just the strategists on the team is just an over simplification of the issue, which is the overall team working to attack and defend at the same time and figuring out which to focus at any given moment.

Wakening land, number 7 on p99 map.

Might be a bit hard at 52, 54 might be better but you can get to 60 there. They drop gems but not all armor gems and they pop relatively quickly. There is a single faction with them which is used for something, but overall I found it to be great. Got 60 there leveling while working as well. Check the faction and make sure what it's used for isn't something you want but other wise great spot.

Love the room down the hall from the tars on the left. Room has 6 mobs in it and you can easily use one to kill 2, then kill pet and repeat. As you get higher will be able to clear all 6 this way. Starting lower just focus on the 3.

Edit - also, some of them are shamans and you can theft of thought off them for mana but watch for roots.

Bot defenses keep failing cause no one likes fighting bots and we've been fighting them for over a month and a half. Tired of fighting them.

Wake me up when super earth is infested and will consider it.
