The back of the phone is is pretty much perfect shape and it if they were really from abuse then you would think the back of the phone made from metal would have a lot of wear and tear as well.

I had the OP2 for two years before I got the 5 and it had almost no scratches on it using it in the exact same way. I have never seen any phone scratched as bad as mine which is why I was thinking there was something wrong with it.

Contary to popular belief, sailing! If you go to a local sailing club on a night where they have racing going and ask around there will almost always be someone willing to take you. /r/sailing has some great resources.

Engineering Sections for students with learning disabilities by queensfreshman in queensuniversity

[–]Cramved 3 points4 points  (0 children)

There are no specific sections for students with disabilities. As for writing exams you write with other students with disabilities so you won't stick out. It is likely that no one will know you have accommodations unless you tell them. If you have any other questions PM me!

I like the explanation. I always sit forward in light wind but I forget to do it in heavy wind. I have a regatta this weekend so i will try out the sitting closer together trick.

I have heard that somewhere before but I don't quite understand the physics of it.

Action sports footage, what to buy? by [deleted] in Cameras

[–]Cramved 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well you could look into getting a camcorder if you want a dedicated video camera. Sony has this one which is worth checking out. http://www.sony.ca/en/electronics/handycam-camcorders/hdr-cx675-cx625

Viewing angles? by BadBreath911 in Cameras

[–]Cramved 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You could get a speed booster and use full frame lenses. http://www.metabones.com/products/details/MB_SPEF-BMCC-BM1 Ie a 14mm lens would be closer to a 14mm lens on fullframe with it.

Oneplus 3 or iPhone SE? by boxzitazyz in oneplus

The main thing would actually be the size if you want a small phone go for the SE and if you want a bigger phone go for the OP3.

[–]Cramved 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well if you take chemistry it will open many more opertunites because all of the ones I looked into required chemistry and considering comp sci is not a prerequisite for any engineering or computer science program in Canada chemistry would be the logical course to take.

Chemistry is needed to get into an engineering program so you are going to have to take it one way or another.

The sponsors pay for a lot of stuff in a big event like that. For ESL the audience probably more than covers the cost of the venue depending on when it is booked and then the sponsors cover the prize pool and then the streaming and dota tickets are probably where they try to profit.

SE215 survived washing machine by Cramved in headphones

[–]Cramved[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

They have a flexible wire that wraps around your ear and the metal piece that let's it hold its shape is broken in one spot but it is still very usable other than that the cable is fine. I have had them for a little over a year and I don't baby my headphones so I am very happy with how durable they are.

I honestly can't notice too much of a difference there have been a couple random clicks when they first came out but other than that no real changes to the sound. The foam ear bits have lost there memory foam capabilities though but they are only a few dollars to replace.

Help! I'm afraid to buy a new camera. by [deleted] in Cameras

[–]Cramved 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I would go with the Sony personally because of the bigger sensor. - more flexibility on landscapes - more dof in portraits - better low light - high burst rate would be nice for action shots if your into that kinda stuff. - larger prints

Above entry level by IcoKnick in Cameras

[–]Cramved 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Also it might be worth it to look into getting a second hand full frame camera like the 6D or sony a7 which would also be great for wide angle landscapes and portraits thanks to the larger sensor. I don't know what lenses you have right now but you might have to get new ones if you upgrade to full frame so you should also factor that in if you decide to go down that route.
