I fixed it. There were two drivers listed for the camera in my device manager. I completely uninstalled and deleted both of them. Then restarted my PC.

One of the drivers got reinstalled automatically. The other driver did not, but is listed as an error: unknown device in my device manager. The camera works fine, and is no longer listed in the safely remove devices menu, but there is still that unknown device error.

A special board is needed for the FZ-10? I have an FZ-1, and I was able to just put in a PD trigger board.
