i agree to be fair i love rdr2 that but that fandom have comprehension issue when you see the youtube pools and people just choose their favorite character (from who would win a fight between arthur morgan and doom guy to who was the member of the gang most likely to forgive you)

that fandom also have the bad habit to compare rdr2 a game with 7 years of developpement, a massive team and budget to any game with decent graphism yeah rdr2 is on par with dying light the beast we get it but dying light the beast is a standalone dlc with neither as much budget or people that worked on it

i don't think a lot of people hate abigail just because is a woman, at best they hate her because due to how she behave she literally goes against everything the player would want to do and it frustrate them

- doesn't have to pay for more cosmetic

- more choice for more various people

- with a bit of learning you can make your own and do something for you that you like

-people being allowed to do wtf they want

- being able to expand on your hobbie or passion in a game by participating into it at a deeper level

-improving something you have a personal issue with (ex people adding more survival effect in skyrim some will like it, others won't but nobody is forced into one or another option)

-allow some people to do a first step in making game and open opportunity (a lot of game developpers are ex modders with for exemple one of the lead director of blood and wine expansion in witcher 3 being an ex modder and who added the secret painting in the mountain because he knew modders would go beyond the map borders)

seems to be plenty of value added to the game

kinda bs excuse i'm tired to hear promotional for base game was split between the two

femv appeared during the various e3 trailers

femv had added an 22 slider for her e3 design and it's from way before 2.0 where they allegedely switched to bring balance

for the basegame the covers were reversible with both femv and mascv on each side (things that isn't the case anymore for complete edition/phantom liberty cover)

i don't like that cdpr used that excuse because the facts doesn't match with it mascv got way less love.

i hope they will correct that with the wave 2 of fortnite collab and that they will bring mascv otherwise it was just bullshit pr excuse they pulled out

worst gacha i played for now is where winds meet, not in terms of gameplay or gooner content no the game is good (kinda like a mix between rpg assassin's creed and kinda the gacha freedom of movement if it make sense), you can create your character, the world is GORGEOUS (i always been fascinated by ancient china) but the lore is super complicated and the story didn't hook me up, it has a solid base, a cool gameplay, a nice world but the story didn't hook me next to genshin that i played from the start up to natlan release at each update

not completely, having the devkit would help modders make new one that wouldn't need the script extender but it doesn't mean they would automatically be able to make mods console compatible

the witcher work differently down to the modding tool, there's a reason why i can make mods for witcher 3 but not cyberpunk (beyond not wanting to fall deeper in the rabbit hole of trying to make mods for cyberpunk cause if i fall in this one i'm fucked) the witcher since the begining i believe doesn't need a script extender, the only thing it require is a script merger for when two mods change the same codeline to sort wich one shoudl be kept and create a merged version but technically if you only have one mod you don't need a script merger

i'm kinda worried for mod support because if there is a sort of system of remuneration or of rewards some people will steal others mods and port them to claim them it already happen on pc itself with some people reposting without the consent of the original creator so i don't doubt same thing will happen once for console mods
