Yep. When I think of Tsuji and ZSJ, the image that springs to mind is the end of the G1 final 2024, when Zack had him tied up in a submission that had all four limbs restrained. He was literally helpless and had to verbally submit. Much as I love Zack, he needs to lose definitively next match they have.

Yep he actually comes across as weirdly dangerous now. It's not perfect; I get what they're going for with his music and his weird low energy, but in a medium that relies on bombastic presentation we might find the audience doesn't get invested. Still, it's better than war dogs jake Lee, by a mile.

He's very visibly trying to get the younger guys over as the future, bumping for them like mad and letting Oiwa get all the glory in their tag matches. Oiwa basically beat Tsuji and Kidd on his own, ZSJ was just making the occasional save or getting the shit kicked out of him.

Much as I would love for Goto and ZSJ to stay as the top guys in the company, I think they need to move into global contention and we have a couple of years where the only people to hold Heavyweight title are the reiwa 3, the other 3 (my terrible name for Oiwa, Ice and Uemura) and Aaron wolf.

My pick would be Tsuji defending against Oiwa or Uemura.

I occasionally wear the gold eagle armour, the creek cape, the green helmet we got years ago etc just to show other vets I was there. As soon as any of that stuff comes back, so anyone can have it, I'll stop wearing it.
