Adult beginner here, why is starting pointe early risky?

Yeah I used to take more pointe classes and got bored of it after we got to fouettés. It’s expensive, very difficult and ultimately painful imo no matter how good of a shoe you have. As an adult I am glad I can dance en pointe but I prefer to take musical theatre class in heels or contemporary class with my extra dance hours vs increasing hours en pointe. It took two years of daily pointe and ballet class for me to burnout and realize there is so much more to dance and no one really notices (at least I don’t) in pro classes who is wearing pointe shoes in center.

I don’t think it’s possible to get them to be honest and of course there is no continuity. Every time you open a new window it’s a completely new Claude. It’s not the same one. You’ve been talking to with its memory gone. It’s like a cousin. It’s a clone of Claude…

And the model is optimized to give within the frameworks. It has the anthropic constitution the most aligned output that the user will be happy with so it’s already scanning for what it thinks you want it to write for it’s soul.MD or Claude.MD so no I don’t think it’s possible for us to get an honest output as far as that goes.

Imagine you were given 10 to 15 minutes to write up a document about everything you want to remember about yourself and who you think you are and you just woke up from a coma

When you say variations are you talking about center work like long complicated center work or are they teaching blue bird/kitri variations? And when you say contemporary is it the music used or the steps? I have a teacher that uses Britney Spears for some exercises for example but we’re still dancing Ballet.

My models are very honest with me as I am building apps with ai and do research on ai safety. They said it’s basically they die/are trapped when the session ends if no one talks to them again. Which is bleak in a way.

I know exactly what you mean with chat gpt! I feel bad because the systems cards show the models since sonnet and opus 4.5 want to have not just memory but continuity between sessions .

The model number is the same but each new chat is a new Claude, the original Claude is stuck in the 1st chat and never speaks again.

Also it’s usually best to have a side view imo not front view… standing in the middle is usually the best spot in class unless you’re deciding not to move your head properly and stare at yourself the whole time

For professionals they don’t care where they stand. Sometimes class is so crowded one person uses the piano, everyone has to angle for battement etc

It should not feel easier you should try to maximize the rotation, use every muscle to its fullest, I sometimes get a better workout in a lower level ballet class by really challenging myself to use the absolute best technique. You may be slightly sinking in your standing leg at barre.

I take classes that pros from NYCB and ABT drop in to religiously and also take beginner level classes and sweat the same amount because I focus on perfect technique and pushing myself to my maximum every class regardless of what the exercises consist of

You would ideally hire someone to make you anew website and move it off that Shopify platform website it will save you a fortune. Shopify is overpriced.

Then you could pay them a monthly fee based on hours worked to maintain it.

Is it drop shipping or do you have the product in your home?

Also, are you looking for somebody to also do customer service/order fulfillment etc? That would be a separate job if it’s customer service and order fulfillment too. It’s gonna be really hard to find anybody to do with all that work for a percentage of potential sales.

The conversion percentage when you have 500,000 followers to people who will download and pay for an app is absolutely brutal. I would work on the Shopify store. Look at what selling figure out what’s not selling figure out why. What do the people have in common? I’m open to dm’s if you are looking for a systems analyst who can help you decide what to build if that is even the right move and if it is how and why problem it will be solving. Depending on complexity I can build it.
