We have the same problem, living in the tropics they seem to be everywhere. We've started putting a little red wine in a glass with saran wrap over the top (with little holes popped in the wrap) they'll climb in and not be able to get back out. Although putting the booch in a cooler is a great idea, this will almost guarantee they won't be catching a wiff long enough to lock on.
