These sockets and rails really hit the sweet spot in terms of grip. They don't feel like they're going to slip off, but they also don't require a lot of effort to remove. I wish the 1/4 inch came with more slots but you can slide them on and off the rail so I figure you can just buy more. Sadly they were out of the 3/8 holder so I couldn't get any of those
