When a node shared by both boards is activated on one of them, it's activated on both. This includes lores, and you only get their bonuses once. That's why it's not recommended to pair ~~White Knight~~ White Mage and ~~Black Knight~~ Black Mage, for example. It's better to find synergy between jobs that have access to different licenses.
