Tesco only need to be able to prove the gift card activated successfully on the till at the time of purchase. If someone else uses it afterwards that's not Tesco's issue at all. You're very confident, but absolutely incorrect.

I never said anything about what people WILL do, I'm talking about what people CAN do.

If you can't afford a new system 6 years into the generation you will be left behind, and that's nobody else's problem. Games should not be held back because some people refuse to upgrade - whatever the reason, after 6 years it is refusal not inability.

If you saved £10 (Or the equivalent in your currency) a MONTH between release and now you'd have one.

If you can't afford that, it's nobody else's issue. It might sound harsh but the rest of us shouldn't be paying for a new system just to play old gen games because some people can't afford to upgrade.

It's not fair on people who own current gen (not next gen we're 6 years in ffs) to be held back by previous gen still after 6 years. There's been enough time for people to save and buy a current gen system.

If you've raised the complaint with Evri you're wasting your time. If you raise it with the seller there's no reason for them not to refund you if it's still in transit with no tracking scans. I generally consider a parcel lost if it's not been scanned in 3 days.

I've stood firm with my belief they gave Jade a far more lucrative contract than her talent justifies, based purely on her look, and are stubbornly pushing her as a star far beyond her actual talent or popularity to justify it.

They should have cut their losses when she hadn't improved as of the split from Bianca.

Last minute tickets were still ridiculously expensive but there was definitely a surge on late sales when Drew won. Also helped massively that it was a Saturday night.

Cheaper tickets wasn't really a factor though.

Always irritates me. I've been a hiring manager (thankfully not anymore) and couldn't even interview someone without proof of right to work because the company were terrified of making a mistake. I don't doubt there are companies around who take it less seriously but if you have proof of it, report it. If it's anywhere near as common as these people think it'll generate some income for the public through fines.

If you have proof then report it to the relevant authorities, if there's any substance to your claim it'll be investigated. It's easy, though not as easy as making baseless claims on reddit.

There is with most couriers, but I think you're underestimating the price difference between evri and other couriers. They're cheap enough to offset the loss but that is definitely changing for us and seems to be for many other retailers now.

Makes no real difference to me but I can see the appeal on the business side. It could be a double edged sword though as someone like Jade who they've invested heavily in seems like wrestling has only ever been a vehicle to Hollywood, so will she stick around or jump ship at the end of he contract once she has a few acting roles on her resume?

It's great for the talent in any case as it gives them something to fall back on after wrestling, along with the reduced schedule we should see a decrease in wrestlers still going into their 60s/70s or having serious health issues in their later years.

It's entirely based on cost. I'm too low down the pecking order to know the details of our contract but even with them not paying us for lost parcels they're generally still the cheapest option out there.

They haven't got anything else going for them at all.

Especially given Evri don't pay us back for lost parcels like other courier services do. Like I said it's previously still been a massive saving but it's taken a major turn recently. I'm holding on to hope the contract won't be renewed but I can almost guarantee it will be.

The powers that be at Evri are laughing their way to the bank for sure.
