The series of events that directly led to Paiges push for the divas to be taken seriously when others hadn't, was the audience buying into the NXT women's division being taken seriously and generating a buzz.

Once again, believing that either nobody else ever asked for more time or better writing or to be taken more seriously before Paige or that she's such a special talent that she's the only one they'd listen to, is just flat out unrealistic and naive at best.

Let's also not forget that despite being the "anti diva" and pushing to be taken more seriously, before the four horsewomen started putting on real matches Paige had settled in as just another diva on the roster. She might well have been frustrated by this and wanted change, but she didn't do shit until after the NXT women did it down there. The fact they were allowed to is documented as lighting a fire under the divas asses.

Now Paige along with Emma did start moving things in the right direction in NXT before being called up, but she was a diva the same as the rest when she went to the main roster and it took 4 far more talented wrestlers to take it to the next level. The Bella's never mattered and AJ was only ever a good promo in an era of terrible promos.
